Sag Harbor Studio

Spruce was invited to clear and curate a studio space to reflect the artist’s shifting focus. To support her new emphasis on fostering community art-making rituals and opportunities, the studio was opened and reorganized. This process culminated in the artist’s sharing in both an open-studio tour and highly successful experiential group show.

As a lifelong artist, I was confronted with mountains of artwork to sort through after moving studios. My art was also heading in a new direction. Anastasia’s therapeutic process facilitated an inward and outward exploration and clearing. She came up with an organizational structure and physically helped clear away clutter to make space for new opportunities and inspirations to arise. Anastasia helped as well as a personal assistant to write exhibition proposals, update my bio and other website and promotional materials. Her caring nature and attention to detail and beauty made the whole process a joy. I am grateful to know and work with Anastasia.
